Youth Leadership Conference 2025 — Yerevan
Nearly 100 young leaders gathered in Yerevan on May 16–17, 2025 at the Marriott Hotel for Kectil Armenia’s flagship Youth Leadership Conference. Participants came from Armenia, Egypt, Tunisia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, the UAE, the USA, India, Kazakhstan, and Myanmar.
Program
Over two intensive days — plus a study visit to the National Assembly of Armenia — fellows joined panels on:
- Challenges facing young leaders in Armenia and the Middle East
- The effect of corruption on youth development
- Resilience in fragile states
- Education and curriculum reform
- Youth policy and law
- Peacebuilding in the South Caucasus
Keynote remarks included Sona Ghazaryan, Member of the Armenian Parliament. The program also featured the global 2025 Kectil Youth Speak Survey and an interactive leadership session using the Gregorc Mind Styles Model.
